About Me:

In addition to writing and photography, I am the editor of the MWSA (Military Writers Society of America) quarterly magazine, Dispatches. As a former publisher, I enjoyed finding and working with talented writers and illustrators. From How High Can You Fly?, our first published book at River Road Press, to the titles that have been released under Red Engine Press and/or River Road Press, it's been a rewarding journey filled with hard work, collaboration and learning.

I'm a member of Sisters in Crime, the Military Writers Society of America, the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers and Missouri Outdoor Communicators, Midwest Travel Bloggers and Laguna Madre Art League.

Luke
Peanut

Last but not least I can't forget Peanut. She kept me company for nine years before she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2014. I miss her every day.

Luke, a Bichon, is the star of my Hap Lynch mystery series - he thinks of himself as Luke the Detective Dog. He, along with designer Joyce Faulkner, co-authors the Fun Days series of travel guides for kids.
